About Steve Pomper

Steve Pomper is a police officer and writer living in the Pacific Northwest. Steve is the author of Is There a Problem, Officer? ACop’s Inside Scoop on Avoiding Traffic Tickets. (The Lyons Press, 2007).  Steve’s new book is written for motorists who want to know how to behave if–when–they get stopped by a cop for a minor traffic violation, that may improve their chances of getting a warning. Or to at least make them less likely to talk, or act, themselves into a citation. 

His articles have appeared in American Iron Magazine, the Seattle Police Officer’s Guild: The Guardian, AmericanDaily.com, TheWashingtonDispatch.com, as well as other webzines. Steve is also an Expert Author at, Ezinearticles.com.    

Steve’s novel, Two Up, a crime drama with a biker and custom motorcycle building backdrop, is currently being considered by a publisher. He’s now working on a book for the Globe-Pequot Press titled: Seattle CuriositiesSteve is busy (between 911 calls) working on two other novels, Shadow Badges and Sleep Realm, both metaphysical action/adventures.

Steve enjoys riding his Harley and lives with his firefighter wife of 29 years in the Great Pacific Northwest.
